|After the experimental formation at Liverpool, it was back to a more conventional one against Leicester, in the first of two home matches in four days. It was a cold and biting wind that greeted us to St.Mary's and the club promised free hot drinks to those that got into the ground before 7pm for the 7.30pm kick off. We got there at 7.03pm...
With the conventional formation, Lyanco dropped to the bench, with Walker-Peters starting at left back. Broja was also on the bench, with Redmond on one flank and Tella on the other.
After the last few games, it really needed Saints to get four points from the games against Leicester and Brighton on Saturday, if we wanted to avoid being sucked right into the relegation fight. Leicester don't seem to be the force that they were this season, or rather Jamie Vardy isn't. So, it was with a certain amount of cautious optimism that we waited for the game to start.
Nathan Tella caused the Leicester defence all sorts of problems
